Little Roan just turned one. His mom has been trying to set up photos with me for some time and it finally worked out for us. We didn’t have the prettiest day of the year but it wasn’t raining! I have known Megan and Grant for years and it is so great to see their little family grow. Here are some of my favorite shots:
Megan and Jerrod were a last minute addition to my 2009 lineup. I am so glad they found me! They had a beautiful wedding in Hermann, MO. I had never been to Hermann and I absolutely LOVED it. I am definitely going back some day and spending some time there. Megan and the girls got ready at a bed and breakfast and then we spent some time shooting the girls around town. We didn’t have a lot of time for photos so Susan hung with the guys and did all of their photos. She did a great job and I think they had a lot of fun too.
Susan grabbed this little detail shot.
A quick moment right after the wedding.
My favorite. Look at her eyes!
We slipped outside for some after dark photos.
Full moon!
When the reception was over they took the party in to town…
Megan and Jerrod, what a great day! Thank you for letting us be a part of it. To see more photos click her for a slide show.
Dominik: The last one is my favorite. What an awesome wedding shot! :)
Jessica Wright: These are fabulous, I love the shots of them out on the town at the end. Beautiful couple. That last one is so AWESOME!
I don’t really know where to start with this post. It is going to be a long one because this wedding was a weekend event. How fun, right?? Krista and Corey decided that they wanted to get married on the farm where Krista grew up. When I arrived their on the wedding day, I felt like I had just stepped on to the pages of a Country Living magazine. Not only was the house and the farm incredible, they also live in Amish country and there were horse and buggies all up and down the road as we arrived. I only hope I could capture some of the beauty that I saw all weekend.
Friday was the ceremony:
Krista and her mom putting finishing touches on her veil
I love this shot. This was during their first look.
Corey’s parents looking on as the couple sees each other for the first time.
Susan grabbed this shot right after they walked down the aisle.
Soooo many amazing details.
Father daughter dance turned into father daughterS dance. How sweet!
On Saturday there was a really big party for all of their friends. All of the table clothes where old sheets picked up at thrift stores and sewn by Corey’s mother. All of the flowers and greenery on the tables were picked and arranged that morning by friends and family members. So amazing.
On day three, I spent some time alone with Krista and Corey.
Ok, that was probably my longest post ever but, it was my longest wedding ever! But, that isn’t all. If you want to see more of this amazing couple and their fabulous weekend, click here to see the slide show!
