Mahla and Lane are the sweetest couple and it was such an honor to be a part of their wedding day.  They were married in an outdoor ceremony at Old Hawthorne a couple of weeks ago.  Make sure you check out all of the details because Mahla’s mom and Lane’s mom made all of the vintage wrist wraps.  They were all different and all amazing.  Mahla’s mom also made her hair piece which was absolutely perfect.

These two met while they were on mission trips in Ecuador.  Their favor for their guests were little bracelets from Ecuador.  I always love when couples add a special personal touch like that.  Here are some of my faves from the day.  You can also check out the wedding day slide show HERE.

Lainey and Dan met/had their first date at Flat Branch.  So, we started their session there.  I always love a personal touch like that when doing engagement photos.

I met up with Jacquelyn and Jay super early one morning in St Louis for their engagement shoot.  They are getting married in October at Union Station and I am so excited for their big day.

That sweet little man in the middle is Rudy.  He came upon us during our shoot and sat down with the happy couple for a few minutes.

Sammy and Jacob  met in high school and now they are both teachers.  Last year Jacob had the kids in his shop class cut out wooden letters that spelled out:

And he had her students lay it out for him and he walked in and surprised her.  How sweet is that?!?!  I love it!
