Mahla and Lane were only in Columbia for a short time but luckily we were able to squeeze in an engagement session before they headed back to school.  AND, we were especially lucky that the weather was gorgeous!  It was sunny and 65 degrees.  So glad we planned that day and not today because to day it is gray and snowing.  This weather is just crazy!  Anyway, this was the first time I met Mahla and Lane and it was such a joy.  I can’t wait for their August wedding!  Oh, and this post might get a little long but it’s my blog and I can do what I want ;)  Enjoy!

For the past three years I have been a part of an online photoboard.  There are photographers from all over the country and at all levels of skill on it.  I have made some wonderful friendships and learned more than you can possible imagine from these amazing women.  One of them is Keri Doolittle.  I flew to Phoenix a couple weeks ago to shoot a wedding with her.  It is always fun and a great learning experience to see another photographer work on a wedding day.  It gave me a whole new perspective and it was a blast.  I spent the day with the guys…I’m never with the guys so, I wasn’t really sure what to expect.  Here are a few of my shots from the day and a few of beautiful Arizona.  I really loved it there but my trip was way too short!
