I got together with Melissa and Adam last weekend for their engagement shoot. We met early in the morning and they were troopers. These two are so so sweet. I really enjoyed getting to know them and we had a great time going all around town. Here are a few of my faves!

Every mom says it but is it so true. Where does the time go? He has grown into a beautiful little boy. Smart, silly, funny, opinionated, sweet, caring and very handsome too.
We celebrated last night because I am shooting a wedding out of town today. I am a little sad I won’t be with him today but we sure had a lot of fun last night. Nicholas is a lover of all things Mickey Mouse and his family knows him well. He got a lot of new Mickey toys and there was a Mickey cake too!

He really liked everyone singing to him.

He didn’t really understand about blowing the candle out so his cousin Zack and daddy helped.

He kept looking at the cake asking if he could “bite it?” So we told him to go ahead. Notice he doesn’t like to get his hands dirty.

Sara and Justin had a beautiful day for their wedding. They were so laid back, calm and just ready to have a good time. I had such a great time getting to know them and spending their special day with them.

I love doing engagement sessions. It really gives me a chance to get to know a couple and have an idea of what the wedding day will be like. Well, I had so much fun with these two and I am sure their wedding will be just as much fun.

We met at CC Broiler downtown because that is where they got engaged. I love that it just happened to have this awesome wall on the side of the building.

We had to swat off a lot of mosquitoes to get these last shots. They were real troopers. I think it was worth it!
